Here’s some tips from a home staging standpoint on how to style your guest bedroom!
When it comes to decoration and design, it’s easy to get lost with the unlimited amounts of contradicting information on the internet. So we decided to simply outline 4 steps to successfully create a beautiful guest bedroom.

1. Warm & Cozy
Creating a cozy and welcoming environment is key when styling your guest bedroom. One of the simplest ways to do so is by adding decorative pillows and layers of bedding. They make the room look homey and can help enhance the desired ambiance. Anyone with experience in interior design will tell you that the use of different textures and layers plays a vital role in creating a warm and welcoming space. Additionally, using woolen throws and comfy knits will do you wonders. Don’t be afraid to throw in textures because they will complement the room’s vibe. Another important aspect of making the guest room comfortable is ensuring hygiene and providing fresh linens.

2. Pops of color
Believe it or not, the color palette can either make or break the ambiance of the room. Adding some fun colors can make the room look all the more welcoming. You can use the accent pillows to not only complement the furniture but also introduce the color palette of the room. Art is another great way to add some color to your room. Abstract art with bold colors can act as statement piece décor items that define your space.

3. Add a Mirror
Placing a mirror opposite or next to sunlight will brighten up your guest room and make it look more spacious. Mirrors can enhance aspects of the room that you want to bring more attention to, which in this case would be the cozy and warm environment. They can also serve as focal points for the room and make any dark corners look more illuminated.
4. Greenery
Decorating the room with flowers and other greenery makes the space more welcoming for guests. House plants are also a great way to fill empty corners without making the room look crowded. Greenery exudes healing energy so guests will feel very at home if the room is decorated with house plants. Indoor plants also purify the air and may help the room feel less claustrophobic.
